Cecilia and Jay

Here are some shots of Cecilia and Jay's wedding last year during October, and it's my second shooting a full day wedding. Very very taxing and challenging, but I learnt quite a fair bit through it and even managed to do a video during the few hours break. A big thank you to Des for assisting me throughout the day. It's amazing how they are both young and may be typically stereotyped to be a shotgun marriage by others, but the ordeals they have been through together is beyond me.

I'll be shooting for Cecilia and her sisters in April and I'm really excited cause it's a concept I've been wanting to try! I hope everything works out nicely as I've visualised.

These few days have been really surreal because I've been so blessed. Thankful for the good things and people that have stepped into my life and I've finally walked away from what I didn't deserve. 

Sometimes the best things come when you least expect it.

Here are some photos taken back in November 2012 for Quinze's first outdoor shoot, which I honestly really liked back then but looking at them now I think I could have done it better in many ways. /: I presume that's good cause that means improvements so I decided to just blog about it here anyway! I loveeee their styling, perhaps cause it's more similar to what I would wear/ would like to wear and Erica and Shanice can really pull of the entire look well. Also loving my job because it brings me back to a lot of places that I used to explore when I was younger and freer, and it's been a long long while since I last stepped foot into this mozzie infested place. Good ol' memories!

I'll start working on my Shanghai photos soon! In the mean time, I'll put up some ip4 pictures of China in the next post as teasers! I can't wait to share my joy when I get to explore new grounds with my camera, and this time round it has snow! Forgive me, it's my first so I'm extremely excited about it! (:

Brownieeee!

#1 Winiline, my younger sister from another mother whom I CANNOT emphasise on how thankful I am for knowing her, though it's only been a short one month but this girl is someone I hold close to heart because she is the sweetest "kid", and I've never once thought I could be this close to someone this young. If I didn't pursue photography, I wouldn't have met her. Thank you, Ash! (if you were to read this)

#2 Pique Nique for brunch and I am missing the salted caramel and red velvet macarons already. I've been pigging out so much lately, it's insane. 

#3 The girl accompanied me to Changi Point Mall to get some shots of the fountain done (was tasked to do!), thank God for her otherwise I'd be bored stiff and probably lost my way somewhere. It's nice because I get to explore somewhere new again. Changi is so ridiculously far from where I reside. 

#4 Some pictures of me because she insisted on wanting to be behind the lens for once and pretend like she is shooting for blogshops. I am, obviously a very failed model please do not judge. It was all in the name of fun! ^_^

#6 This is probably the only time I've uploaded my photos soooo quickly cause I spent the night working on the fountain photos. Can you believe we just took these yesterday?

#8 It's kinda refreshing to have these casual photos up on this space, cause it's been awhile! Benji baby is really quite a bitch to lug out on non-working days. I really should get a compact one soon.

#9 Oh I haveeee to mention, I'm loving my new hair colour! It's Ash Brown/ Green which no one could really tell it was green except for a friend. The green has faded to brown by now, but I love the ash tones, not really accurately portrayed in the pictures here though. I'm going to go even greener when I go for my next hairdye!

Naomi and Pearlyn are both people whom I've met through my photography journey over the last 6 months, and they are people I really like working with. Two months back, Naomi approached me because she wanted to revamp her site with new photos and she told me that she used to skate/cruise a lot. It was really really fun because both Pearlyn and I could tell just how much Naomi loves her board and skating, and I just let her be.....Her. No prizes for guessing where we picked up the supermarket trolley, but it certainly made us all crazy and excited and I happily pushed her around before continuing the shoot.

Also, I'm loving the two different looks on Naomi. Loving the darker side of Naomi. Kudos to Pearlyn for being awesome as always! (: I'm also amazed at how models are able to bear with the noon heat when being asked to put on outer layers **gives thanks that I'm not model material**. I really really like this series, I hope y'all like it too!

Can't believe February is almost over! There's just so much I've yet to accomplish but I'm glad I'm starting to break a little out of my comfort zone. And thank you to all nice and warm messages/comments coming my way to check if I'm alright. I'm much better now, and I promise to only be stronger from this very day onwards. There's so much positivity in me, I can't wait for all the good to start unfolding and to focus on nothing but work. I only pray for a restful sleep at night because I haven't been sleeping well at all, I dream lucid dreams and I wake up feeling all tired and sick everyday. 

May March be kinder to us all!
