Waiting for some magic (Part Two)

make animation

Second half of the TLA shoot

The idea of a supermarket shoot has been on my mind forever, and I'm so glad TL had the exact same notion. We wanted something different from the usual. If we could, we would have stolen the trolley and brought it somewhere for a shoot. I'm not entirely pleased with the photos, I just felt that it didn't exude the feel that I had wanted but there are some shots that I liked a lot.

Anyway, my EOY exams are nearing so I'll be spending the next few weeks studying. On a happy note, I received two distinctions for my law assignment and mid semester test..! Rumour has it that we scored the highest in our class for our group project. I'm so proud of us all ^_^ Time has its way of slipping by, and our first trimester is coming to an end pretty soon...I'm gonna miss my team.

Back to burying my head in the books ):
Great weekend to all of y'all!

Waiting for some magic (Part One)

Waiting For Some Magic (Part One)

Part one of a little shoot I did for the love birds last Sunday after our brunch. I'll have the photos put up in 2 parts over the next few posts. Sunday was a mad rush against time and the rain and I did not manage to execute about 90% of the plans I had in mind. On a brighter note, Aaron has given his word for a second shoot when he's back in town and we're really hyped.

After countless rounds of scouting, I've finally gotten my ip4s white. ^_^ I'll miss my qwerty keypad terribly.. afterall bb has served me really well for the past 23months. For those who'd like, you can now follow me on Instagram- Smittenpixels for more regular updates! :D

See you on the other side!

Penang

(Pictures of Penang trip taken with: Tokina 20-35mm F/2.8)

One of the things I hanker after whenever I'm across the causeway in M'sia is their Asam Laksa (pictured above), you don't know what you've been missing out on if you haven't tried! I'm fortunate to have been traveling quite a fair bit this year and to finally step foot into Penang. For those who didn't know, I was a christian but I stopped going to church many years back. My faith wavered but I know it's still in me. I'm not here to start a controversial topic, but when I entered those magnificent temples in Penang, I followed my mom's instructions and got down on my knees and prayed. I was a serious wreck of a broken being, and I longed to be healed. I prayed for happiness, I prayed for him and for time to work it's way out for us. I felt a sense of peace and serenity I never had for a long while. I never really got an answer, but the上上签 gave me something to believe in and there and then I knew I should just leave everything to fate or time to unravel the mystery.

This is no good news but my shoulders/arms/ neck are starting to have some sort of permanent ache from the weight I place on them over the years- bags, cameras etc and it's causing a lot of discomfort and pain. I don't even want to begin thinking of the weight and the damage to my shoulders when I upgrade my equipments in future /:

Ps/ The picture of the food court never fail to amuse me.

Have a good week, angels!
