Carpenter and Cook

Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Tart

Raisin Scones

Passionfruit Meringue

Our free unsure-of-the-name-but-let's-just-call-it-fruit-tarts-or-mini-cakes! Courtesy of Carpenter and Cook's extremely lovely staff :D

Loving the cosy and warm interior! It feels so cottagey with all the vintage stuffs placed around :D

The bestie girl and I stayed and htht-ed till they closed, and we were the last customers to leave (which explains the emptiness) and we took the liberty to walk around everywhere we like to shoot. My faaaavourite has got to be the Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Tart! It's too good to be missed, and of course, if you know me, you'll know my never dying love for sconeeees with a crazy amount of strawberry jam. ^_^ Would love to come back again even though it's very out of the way and this place brings back a lot of memories...... But anyway! If you're clueless about where Lorong Kilat is, it's in Bukit Timah area.

I actually am pretty unsure of what to say without sounding like I'm on repeat that I'm just.... really preoccupied and I'm just trying my best to juggle everything on hand. I am superwoman who knows no sleep, and I forgot how it feels like to sleep without a worry/alarm and to have sufficient sleep. Work and school makes Fiona a dull and tired girl, and that just pretty much summarized my life of late. No complaints, I'm really happy being busy except that it gets really overwhelming at times. That aside, I've been extremely mindful of my health lately after knowing all the symptoms that are appearing and my mom has been really nice to engage a masseur to our house to ease my aches. Please do take care of your health by minding your diet and getting enough rest! Stay in shape and in good health, y'all!

More food post coming up soon! xx

Hi Fiona! Love your blog posts!
Anyway, would it be alright to share the contacts of the masseur? Thanks! :)

Hi, it's alright but I'm not too sure if she'd be to your liking cause she is an Indonesian muslim aunty ( I never knew she is Indonesian, i thought she was malay all these years that she came to my house to massage for my mom) and I only tried her service myself just a few days ago. My mom said she is not fluent in English, but from our short one hour conversation, we are able to converse in simple English, and she could pin point all the problem areas on my body and focus on them.

Don't say I didn't warn you haha but her massages hurt. It's not really with the strength, but the prob areas on your body! She'll apply pressure on those areas to help ease them, and it hurts a lot. She'll just ask you to "tahan". Haha. But she's good, I like masseurs who don't purely massage, but have prior knowledge on health issues and all. Anyway, I hope you'll like her service if you ever engage her.

Her name is Siti and her number is 81726585. Rates wise I'm unable to advise because we are her long time customer and it may differ from the others. (:
